22nd - 31st - Saint Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass, Festival of Flowers and Music. Theme is 'The Circle of Life'.
The church is open daily from 10am - 4.30pm.

Sat 23rd - Vegetable Themed Summer Party at River Swale Organic Vegetables including the 'Vegetable Olympics'.
Activities include Veg Putting and River Swale's version of Shot Put.
Entry and participation is free. 11am - 4pm.

Sun 24th - Birds of Prey and Archery at Kiplin Hall
Try your hand at archery and meet up with a hawk at Kiplin Hall's Birds of Prey and Archery Afternoon on Sunday 24 August from 2 - 5 pm.
Sun 24th - Bucking Bronco Competition and BBQ at Fleece Inn on High Street, Northallerton. Bbq will be on early evening. Prizes for lady and gent who stay on bronco the longest.
Sun 24th - Charley's Aunt at Mount Grace Priory. Gates open at 6.45pm, performance starts at 7.30pm.

Sun 24th and Mon 25th - The Medieval Pageant at Richmond Castle. Starts at 11am. Ladies and nobles demonstrate the life of a medieval knight.
Mon 25th - Mickley Horse Show. (This year at a new location at Newfield).
Raising money for Martin House. Events include Gymhana, showing classes and show jumping. Also the hilarious Mickley Dog Derby which normally involves lots of dogs running in the wrong direction!
Wed 27th - Catterick Races. 7 races. First race 2.10pm. Last race 5.10pm
Thu 28th - Fri 29th - Dramathon Workshop. Hambleton Forum.
2 days of drama workshops from 9.30 - 4.30 each day.
It finishes with a performance of Charlie and Chocolate Factory on 29th at 7.30pm.

Sat 30th August - Craft Fair, Stokesley Town Hall.
Sat 30th - A Winter's Tale at Mount Grace Priory. Gates open 6.45pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm.
Shakespeare's classic play is performed outdoor by Rain or Shine Theatre.
